<section id="H04D0C4E133874779954ED6FB1DF9986" section-type="section-one" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum><header>Energy management requirements</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 551 of the National Energy Conservation Policy Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/8259">42 U.S.C. 8259</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H7C2E495C33F549B3BB36C6D2B4F64883"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (1), by inserting <quote>, and includes the Architect of the Capitol</quote> after <quote>United States Code</quote>; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H52F927E528BB468F8F195C8824BEECE"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph (9), by inserting <quote>, except that, with respect to buildings under the jurisdiction of the Architect of the Capitol, such term means the committees of the House of Representatives and the Senate with jurisdiction over the Architect of the Capitol</quote> after <quote>Secretary of Energy</quote>. </text></paragraph></section> 
<section id="H09A34E45E1FC4B759BDDCA4166F6394B" section-type="subsequent-section" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>2.</enum><header>Energy efficiency standards</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 303 of the Energy Conservation and Production Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/6832">42 U.S.C. 6832</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HFD9CA0DD42BB42BE93AB214421E1F7AC"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (5), by inserting <quote>, and includes the Architect of the Capitol</quote> after <quote>Mortgage Corporation</quote>; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H36CE7DE330C447B0A6A5E83F991C8E0"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph (10), by inserting <quote>, except that, with respect to buildings under the jurisdiction of the Architect of the Capitol, such term means the committees of the House of Representatives and the Senate with jurisdiction over the Architect of the Capitol</quote> after <quote>Urban Development</quote>. </text></paragraph></section>
