<section id="HCE50D66F1ECF4FC18F9365FFFCE67869" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Transportation and subsistence for special sessions of district courts</header> 
<subsection id="H8A18245FD1B34173AFC819DFAF03B6"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Transportation and subsistence</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/28/141">Section 141(b)</external-xref> of title 28, United States Code, as added by section 2(b) of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/109/63">Public Law 109–63</external-xref>, is amended by adding at the end the following:</text> 
<quoted-block style="OLC" id="H2864BFFEE23A4B0591B38B157BBE3" display-inline="no-display-inline"> 
<paragraph id="H851DE6C701284484A54144DE84D78F2" indent="up1"><enum>(5)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">If a district court issues an order exercising its authority under paragraph (1), the court shall direct the United States marshal of the district where the court is meeting to furnish transportation and subsistence to the same extent as that provided in sections <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/18/4282">4282</external-xref> and <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/18/4285">4285</external-xref> of title 18.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> 
<subsection id="HD0B065FAEC6D41E5AC377124D9901EC4"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations</header><text>There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out paragraph (5) of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/28/141">section 141(b)</external-xref> of title 28, United States Code, as added by subsection (a) of this section.</text> </subsection></section>
