<section id="H0F7D4EAFADEB4877A16FECFCAE2003C" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Wayne ‘Cotton’ Morgan Bulletproof Vest Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section> 
<section id="HD3B79A0C47B34D9EAACE5BDB179DAC00" section-type="subsequent-section" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>2.</enum><header>Amendment to matching grant program for bulletproof armor vests to eliminate matching requirement for certain officers</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2501 of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/3796ll">42 U.S.C. 3796ll</external-xref>) is amended in subsection (f) by adding at the end the following new paragraph:</text>

<paragraph id="H6AFEADA5761145A08BC8027734F84D13"><enum>(3)</enum><header>No matching requirement for certain officers</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Paragraph (1) does not apply to the extent the grant is for the purchase of an armor vest for any officer who works in a high security risk area or for a correctional officer who transports prisoners.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section>
