<official-title>To amend title 38, United States Code, to authorize additional compensation to be paid to certain veterans in receipt of compensation for a service-connected disability rated totally disabling for whom a family member dependent on the veteran for support provides care.</official-title>

<section section-type="section-one" id="HD811B82AEAA54296A26F8D007C2EE5D" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Disabled Veterans’ Caregiver Compensation Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section>
<section id="H2C083D34D00E4A5695FBFE21422039AC"><enum>2.</enum><header>Additional compensation for disabled veterans in need of regular aid and attendance who have dependent family member caregivers</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/1115">Section 1115</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph:</text>

<paragraph id="H9DEE78D137294401BA48CDCDD33C742"><enum>(3)</enum><text>If and while rated totally disabled and in need of regular aid and attendance and while unpaid aid and attendance is provided by an adult family member who is dependent upon such veteran for support, $234.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section>
