                  In the Senate of the United States,

                          October 7 (legislative day, October 6), 2005.
    Resolved, That the bill from the House of Representatives (H.R. 
3765) entitled ``An Act to extend through December 31, 2007, the 
authority of the Secretary of the Army to accept and expend funds 
contributed by non-Federal public entities to expedite the processing 
of permits.'', do pass with the following

                              AMENDMENTS:

Page 2, line 10, strike [December 31, 2007] and insert: March 31, 2006

Amend the title so as to read: ``An Act to extend through March 31, 2006, the 
authority of the Secretary of the Army to accept and expend funds contributed by 
non-Federal public entities and to expedite the processing of permits.''.
