<section id="H1E5F4B4006D7415AAAF0009858049477" section-type="section-one" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>National Flood Insurance Program Enhanced Borrowing Authority Act of 2005</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H0823CF8C6A894D1BA82F78003751EE1F"><enum>2.</enum><header>Increase in borrowing authority</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The first sentence of subsection (a) of section 1309 of the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/4016">42 U.S.C. 4016(a)</external-xref>) is amended by inserting before the period at the end the following: <quote>; except that, through September 30, 2008, clause (2) of this sentence shall be applied by substituting <quote>$3,500,000,000</quote> for <quote>$1,500,000,000</quote></quote>.</text></section>
