<section id="H5BF8F80123044F3884A5AC032D93FBE4" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Safety improvements required</header> 
<subsection id="HBD6162B157774FC9BC2EA8C0D86FD40"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Short title</header><text>This section may be cited as the <quote>Save the Statue of Liberty Act</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HD50AD99A6EB34F55995363C62F2C6300"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Requirement for Safety Improvements</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than September 11, 2005, the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the National Park Service and using funds available to the Secretary for this purpose, shall commence necessary safety and other related improvements to the Statue of Liberty so that it may be fully reopened to the public to provide the same access as before September 11, 2001.</text></subsection></section>
