<official-title>To direct the Secretary of Agriculture to transfer certain land within the Ottawa National Forest to the Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, and for other purposes.</official-title>

<section id="H05C86AAE9B884077B9BBE56FA0F8CC5" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Land transfer to indian tribe</header>
<subsection id="H32B6C71677B945C4A526093B5783DE00"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Requirement for transfer</header><text>The Secretary of Agriculture shall transfer all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in subsection (b) for cultural preservation, without consideration, to the the Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians.</text></subsection>
<subsection id="HD434577C3E254C50A207B321B5323365"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Description of land</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The land to be transferred under subsection (a) is the approximately 46 acres located within the Ottawa National Forest in Watersmeet Township, Gogebic County, Michigan, Michigan Meridian, and further described as follows: G.L. 1 (W 1/2 of the SW 1/4 ), section 5, T43N, R38W.</text></subsection>
<subsection id="HEBDFFBC0126B49A492E9C3E5DAFAD251"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Reverter under certain conditions</header><text>All right, title, and interest of the Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians in and to the land transferred pursuant to subsection (a) shall immediately revert to the United States to be administered by the Secretary of Agriculture as part of the Ottawa National Forest if—</text>
<paragraph id="HC3E781A1F23A4731B334CFA2F1313D6"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the tribe attempts to sell all or any part of the land other than that land east of Indian Village Road; or</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H9437F85F20A84E879362524354E600C3"><enum>(2)</enum><text>all or any part of the land is used for any economic purpose, including gaming.</text></paragraph></subsection>
<subsection id="H5C1006F81520402DBC91F00676BD649C"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Revision of forest boundary</header><text>Not later than 30 days after the transfer under subsection (a), the Secretary of Agriculture shall adjust the boundaries of the Ottawa National Forest to reflect that transfer.</text></subsection></section>
