<section id="H96138A109183437F97DCDE1900E57986" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Bruce Vento Hmong Veterans’ Naturalization Act of 2005</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H14908B2FF053435E9E19DE003DBD44FF"><enum>2.</enum><header>Elimination of application deadlines</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 6 of the Hmong Veterans’ Naturalization Act of 2000 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1423">8 U.S.C. 1423</external-xref> note) (as amended by section 112 of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/77">Public Law 107–77</external-xref> (115 Stat. 765)) is amended to read as follows:</text>

<section id="H8F430BBD0EB14428A1DFA2273300FB57"><enum>6. </enum><header>No deadline for application; payment of fees</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act shall apply to a person only if the person files an application for naturalization, as provided in section 334 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1445">8 U.S.C. 1445</external-xref>), and pays the appropriate fees.</text></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </section>
