<official-title>To amend title 38, United States Code, to authorize the placement in a national cemetery of memorial markers for the purpose of commemorating servicemembers or other persons whose remains are interred in an American Battle Monuments Commission cemetery.</official-title>

<section section-type="section-one" id="H33DC0A6C6CB54F829CC816FC652DC9A" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum><header>Treatment of internment of remains in an American Battle Monuments Commission cemetery as unavailable for the purposes of placement of memorial markers in national cemeteries</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Paragraph (3) of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/2306">section 2306(b)</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended—</text>
<paragraph id="H10149F1FF3834A2C99A5B54700CF701E"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking <quote>or</quote> at the end of subparagraph (C);</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="HF06432EE50834B5DBD9E2E3D5D19001C"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking the period at the end of subparagraph (D) and inserting <quote>; or</quote>; and</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H8ED6D053E4734DC781A913B880818E3E"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:</text>
