<section id="H808DEC9799B94C4AA3FDC4C0B263FAE0" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Grants for DNA Backlog Prosecutions Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="HFC46AD4C38A64AFB89FE62396146A46B"><enum>2.</enum><header>Assistance for prosecutions of cases cleared through use of DNA backlog clearance funds</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Justice for All Act of 2004 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/108/405">Public Law 108–405</external-xref>) is amended by adding after section 206 the following new section: </text>

<section id="H20355B0E789F41949826F3F9CA40A900" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>207.</enum><header>Assistance for prosecutions of cases cleared through use of DNA backlog clearance funds</header> 
<subsection id="H91E87A9A2AFE4E78BD306CDD6FEA55B9"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Attorney General shall make grants to train and employ personnel to help prosecute cases cleared through use of funds provided for DNA backlog elimination.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HA49C141B77494632807765CF04D694BE"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations</header><text>There are authorized to be appropriated $100,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2006 through 2010 to carry out this section.</text> </subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section>
