<section id="H5F43EE0EE0FC453C8292F400009B3730" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>TRICARE Mental Health Services Enhancement Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H7D55146B95D249169B8FA30586070038"><enum>2.</enum><header>Reimbursement of mental health counselors under TRICARE</header> 
<subsection id="HF4AEC78DE3F24DA2B7D90043EBC9AD7C"><enum>(a)</enum><header> Reimbursement under TRICARE</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/10/1079">Section 1079(a)(8)</external-xref> of title 10, United States Code, is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H003E0837996E46D086D2F27CA1E33CDA"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by inserting <quote>or licensed or certified mental health counselors</quote> after <quote>certified marriage and family therapists</quote> both places it appears; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H4BFCF03EB22F4C759F6B359DD7C77D1F"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting <quote>or licensed or certified mental health counselors</quote> after <quote>that the therapists.</quote></text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="H3EF32C4ADBA94C0700A306859EB16835"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Authority to provide mental health services in clinical trials</header><text>Section 1079(a)(13) of such title is amended by inserting <quote>, licensed or certified mental health counselor,</quote> after <quote>certified marriage and family therapist</quote>.</text></subsection></section>

<subsection id="HF874FE0A68F4488C807D3BE955D81474"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Authority to enter into personal services contracts</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 704(c)(2) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1995 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/103/337">Public Law 103–337</external-xref>; 108 Stat. 2799; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/10/1091">10 U.S.C. 1091</external-xref> note) is amended by inserting <quote>mental health counselors,</quote> after <quote>psychologists,</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HB5383EBFC77F4E67ADCF569E40047773"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Applicability of licensure requirement for health-care professionals</header><text>Section 1094 (e)(2) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting <quote>mental health counselor,</quote> after <quote>psychologist,</quote>.</text></subsection></section>
