<section section-type="section-one" id="HF9C78ED6EC0E4762932E6BF1BB2DAEA5" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum><header>Application of countervailing duties to nonmarket economy countries</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 701(a)(1) of the <act-name parsable-cite="TA30">Tariff Act of 1930</act-name> (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/19/1671">19 U.S.C. 1671(a)(1)</external-xref>) is amended by inserting <quote>(including a nonmarket economy country)</quote> after <quote>country</quote> each place it appears.</text></section> 
<section id="H5B8D631362DC481ABD21F01DFA026651"><enum>2.</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The amendments made by section 1 apply to petitions filed under section 702 of the Tariff Act of 1930 on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></section>
