<section display-inline="yes-display-inline" section-type="undesignated-section" id="H98287E5179A04014B1049478CC3E004E"><text>That the following article is proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which shall be valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years after the date of its submission for ratification: </text>

<section id="HE9F488D5F0834F5E94091E13D79C15F5" section-type="undesignated-section"><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Congress and the several States may enact laws regulating the amounts of expenditures a candidate for elective public office may make from personal funds of the candidate or members of the candidate’s immediate family, including personal loans.</text></section> </constitution-article> <after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section>
