<section id="HBFCE0D67D0634B15BFD0A19018FBCC72" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Reinstatement of repealed criminal provisions relating to assault weapons and large capacity ammunition feeding devices</header>
<subsection id="HCFCE75C6375C43538F65C3E890E1A6D7"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Reinstatement of provisions wholly repealed</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Paragraphs (30) and (31) of section 921(a), subsections (v) and (w) and Appendix A of section 922, and the last 2 sentences of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/18/923">section 923(i)</external-xref> of title 18, United States Code, as in effect just before the repeal made by section 110105(2) of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, are hereby enacted into law.</text></subsection>
<subsection id="H23BC4F66CDD0463C84244E3E8EA5EA87"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Reinstatement of provisions partially repealed</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/18/924">Section 924</external-xref> of title 18, United States Code, is amended—</text>
<paragraph id="H31B935D29EA540729851A3FB247C2E93"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (a)(1), by striking subparagraph (B) and inserting the following:</text>
<quoted-block style="OLC" id="H4CE55F5C605E4A55960786BA600D087" display-inline="no-display-inline">
<subparagraph id="HD897586843C84ADD8C3EF0003E73ECD7" indent="up1"><enum>(B)</enum><text>knowingly violates subsection (a)(4), (f), (k), (r), (v), or (w) of section 922;</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H2953E6EFB9A5426E93642EF9AB2E6461"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (c)(1)(B), by striking clause (i) and inserting the following: </text>

<clause id="H3F452A487F284F2A96CDB873F9E1D168" indent="up2"><enum>(i)</enum><text>is a short-barreled rifle, short-barreled shotgun, or semiautomatic assault weapon, the person shall be sentenced to a term of imprisonment of not less than 10 years; or</text></clause><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></subsection></section>
