<section id="HA0C3F95F262440DBAEB564179BCC005C" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote>Freedom of the Press Reinforcement Act</quote>.</text></section>
<section id="HC2EB5763DAC54F8F9D52DB2FD523985D" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Application of visa waiver program to representatives of foreign press</header> 
<subsection id="HA9AE39A44B09472D9E2824AA5143F3F"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Application of program</header><text>Section 217 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1187">8 U.S.C. 1187</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:</text> 
<quoted-block style="OLC" id="H333BCEF184A54CE5A4DF203B4015C30" display-inline="no-display-inline"> 
<subsection id="HF0C2B9C71A074D43ABC7CA7D9E31FE00"><enum>(i)</enum><header>Special rule for foreign press</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">An alien may be classified as a nonimmigrant under section 101(a)(15)(B) for purposes of this section, notwithstanding that the alien is a representative of foreign press, radio, film, or other foreign information media seeking to enter the United States to engage in such vocation.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> 
<subsection id="HF58D626D763A4D5588412FBE3DBDA19C"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming amendment</header><text>Section 101(a)(15)(B) of such Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1101">8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(15)(B)</external-xref>) is amended by inserting after <quote>unskilled labor or</quote> the following: <quote>, except as provided in section 217(i),</quote>.</text></subsection></section>
