<section section-type="section-one" id="H32D97BB011BA4C789F85AFA12FA2258"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>&short-title1;</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="HDF7BDC4529A74E3B96EE124B58A82DED"><enum>2.</enum><header>Elimination of hours of service requirement</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 101(2)(A) of the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/2611">29 U.S.C. 2611(2)(A)</external-xref>) is amended to read as follows:</text>

<subparagraph id="H4A0B8E841E3B4DDF8966A929AA3FCF78"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The term <term>eligible employee</term> means an employee who has been employed, either as a full-time or part-time employee, for at least 12 months by the employer with respect to whom leave is requested under section 102.</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section>
