<section id="H2F794453C1CB4EC293BED1BE2879B03F" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>&short-title1;</short-title></quote>.</text></section>
<section id="H2D909C1740324C43AEB3601BB624A899"><enum>2.</enum><header>Revocation of standards</header>
<subsection id="H92CD22758C324FE18F1C42E4B73B557"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Without regard to any other law, not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Consumer Product Safety Commission shall amend its standards under the Flammable Fabrics Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/1191">15 U.S.C. 1191 et seq.</external-xref>) to revoke the amendments to the standards for the flammability of children’s sleepwear sizes 0 through 6X and 7 through 14 (contained in regulations in parts 1615 and 1616 of title 16, Code of Federal Regulations) issued by the Commission on September 9, 1996 (61 Fed. Reg. 47,634). </text></subsection>
<subsection id="H3F72315A56814B09A446E4C7145EC19F"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective Date</header><text>Sleepwear manufactured or imported before the effective date (as established by the Commission) of the Commission’s revocation required by subsection (a) shall not be considered in violation of the Flammable Fabrics Act if it complied with the Commission rules in effect at the time it was manufactured or imported.</text> </subsection></section>
