<section section-type="section-one" id="HEE0A52D2D8644B13B5BB210076CE600" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum>
<subsection id="H5C291D3E26BB4BF88E8350E264EC03C"><enum/><text>That notwithstanding section 27 of the <act-name parsable-cite="MMA">Merchant Marine Act</act-name>, 1920 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc-appendix" parsable-cite="usc-appendix/46/883">46 App. U.S.C. 883</external-xref>), section 8 of the Act of June 19, 1886 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc-appendix" parsable-cite="usc-appendix/46/289">46 App. U.S.C. 289</external-xref>), and <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/46/12106">section 12106</external-xref> of title 46, United States Code, the Secretary of Transportation may issue a certificate of documentation with appropriate endorsement for employment in the coastwise trade for the vessel W. N. RAGLAND (Washington State registration number WN5506NE).</text></subsection></section>
