<official-title>To amend the Small Business Act to establish funding priorities for women’s business centers for fiscal year 2004.</official-title>

<section id="HC86E13D548414323B59D9E52CFD8E6D5" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>&short-title1;</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H743CB250C8584E4BADC4B0DD01A398D5"><enum>2.</enum><header>Funding priorities for women’s business development centers for fiscal year 2004</header> 
<subsection id="H0DC639260240411F9EFC9047CCFAF4B5"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Reservation of funds for sustainability grants</header><text>Notwithstanding section 29(k)(4)(B) of the Small Business Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/656">15 U.S.C. 656(k)(4)(B)</external-xref>), 48 percent of the total amount made available for fiscal year 2004 for grants under section 29 of such Act shall be reserved by the Administrator of the Small Business Administration for sustainability grants under section 29(l) of such Act.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H16E439E3DCD94F07B794A4B00ED9272"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Maximum amount of sustainability grants</header><text>The amount of funding made available by the Administrator of the Small Business Administration under section 29(l) of the Small Business Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/656">15 U.S.C. 656(l)</external-xref>) to any women’s business center for fiscal year 2004 shall not exceed $125,000.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H1F9163215FA04FCA9116957319FDF738"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Amount of continuation grants</header><text>The amount of funding made available for fiscal year 2004 by the Administrator of the Small Business Administration under section 29(b) of the Small Business Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/656">15 U.S.C. 656(b)</external-xref>) to any women’s business center that also received funding under such section for fiscal year 2003 shall be equal to the lesser of—</text> 
<paragraph id="HE3225D2A373A4F59A3F00036ACE6139C"><enum>(1)</enum><text>$150,000, or</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H5EAF28383861499DA68B60FD90E9E97F"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the amount requested by such women’s business center.</text></paragraph></subsection></section>
