<official-title>To ensure consultation with the governments of the territories of the United States with respect to trade policy and trade agreements.</official-title>

<section id="H447BB7C3624040EDBCF92E7BC8B2648" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>&short-title1;</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H2FAB9175FDB9493CB391A628343700AB"><enum>2.</enum><header>Consultation with governments of U.S. territories on trade policy and trade agreements</header> 
<subsection id="HAEC4736394724FB1005FFAD84DF5EF5C"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Advice from executive departments and other sources</header><text>Section 132 of the Trade Act of 1974 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/19/2152">19 U.S.C. 2152</external-xref>) is amended in the first sentence by inserting after <quote>appropriate</quote> the following: <quote>, including, but not limited to, the governor of any State or territory of the United States</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HBC92FDA24E70480400F954AD411AD50"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Advice regarding trade in services</header><text>Section 306(c)(2)(A) of the Trade and Tariff Act of 1984 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/19/2114c">19 U.S.C. 2114c(2)(A)</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H75551EFF6138415BA564DE8DAB57E365"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in clause (i), by inserting <quote>and the governments of the territories of the United States</quote> after <quote>State governments</quote>;</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HEA7825F3BEC64FB9849C8D9390E03D56"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in clause (ii), by inserting <quote>and the governments of the territories of the United States</quote> after <quote>local governments</quote>; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HE3252F0B290D4325A0FEBC83B4F44959"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in clause (iii), by inserting <quote>and the governments of the territories of the United States</quote> after <quote>local governments</quote>.</text> </paragraph></subsection></section>
