<section id="H48CE72ED88CF4FCDBA86226D9903D7A8" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Automatic acquisition of citizenship for certain immigrants born in Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Kampuchea, or Thailand</header> 
<subsection id="H1BCDFA8964E9476A83B82C014C985693"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Title III of the Immigration and Nationality Act is amended by inserting after section 320 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1431">8 U.S.C. 1431</external-xref>) the following new section:</text>

<section id="H172325E8D7D64FBEBB00CEACB71E43E"><enum>321.</enum><header>Certain immigrants born in Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Kampuchea, or Thailand; Conditions under which citizenship automatically acquired</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">A person automatically becomes a citizen of the United States when the person is residing in the United States and has been lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States pursuant to a classification petition approved under section 204(f).</text></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> 
<subsection id="H471788DAC42548FAA02509CEF6A37CD9"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical amendment</header><text>The table of contents of the Immigration and Nationality Act is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 320 the following new item:</text>

<subsection id="HFBBB92D908BD42FC85BFF3C78D150006"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendments made by this section shall take effect 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act. </text> </subsection></section>
