<section id="HE57F7621A02C4135ABE38907C34E00F1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Amendments to domestic source requirements</header> 
<subsection id="H959A934CBFA846B78CD54437F9B914FC"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Notice</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/10/2533a">Section 2533a</external-xref> of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:</text> 
<quoted-block style="USC" id="H49D8DE155EE04C6B9EFF0818F957D105" display-inline="no-display-inline"> 
<subsection id="H8BF4046A29E94DD4BE96E51C0977B000"><enum>(k)</enum><header>Notification Required When Exceptions Applied</header><text>Funds appropriated or otherwise available to the Department of Defense may not be used to enter into a contract to procure an item described in subsection (b) pursuant to an exception in this section (as set forth in subsections (c) through (h)) until—</text> 
<paragraph id="H64E28FD6BB38478B8156A5194D7EEF12"><enum>(1)</enum><text>a notification of the intent to apply such exception is submitted to Congress and posted on the website maintained by the General Services Administration known as FedBizOpps.gov (or any successor site); and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H36D5A85DFDFF4E0DA13C16FDDA6529D9"><enum>(2)</enum><text>a period of 15 days has expired after the date on which such notification is so submitted and published.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> 
<subsection id="H5F3B6BDA97444B93A85B5392B99B1D7C"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clothing Materials and Components Covered</header><text>Subsection (b) of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/10/2533a">section 2533a</external-xref> of title 10, United States Code, is amended in paragraph (1)(B) by inserting before the semicolon the following: <quote>and the materials and components thereof</quote>. </text> </subsection></section>
