<section id="H7FAAB83D8468403E87E459283CC09643" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Prohibition on operation of medicare comparative cost adjustment (CCA) program in Texas</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1860C–1(b)(2) of the Social Security Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/1395w-29">42 U.S.C. 1395w–29(b)(2)</external-xref>), as added by section 241(a) of the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/108/173">Public Law 108–173</external-xref>), is amended by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:</text>
