<official-title>To extend the date for the submittal of the final report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks on the United States, to provide additional funding for the Commission, and for other purposes.</official-title>

<section id="H7B45D89AEDFD48618B6BD1CBEFEA49D8" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Extension of National Commission on Terrorist Attacks on the United States</header> 
<subsection id="H79DE7093D40C4099B2EBA44400FE216B"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Extension</header><text>Section 610(b) of the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2003 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/306">Public Law 107–306</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/6/101">6 U.S.C. 101</external-xref> note; 116 Stat 2413) is amended by striking <quote>18 months after the date of the enactment of this Act</quote> and inserting <quote>January 10, 2005</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HECDFDB7DD13C4826B2164CBD78548468"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Additional funding</header><text>Section 611 of such Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/6/101">6 U.S.C. 101</external-xref> note; 116 Stat 2413) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HDF485952F9EB4D65A65DCC52B5F430F3"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by redesignating subsection (b) as subsection (c);</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HB8507BD6C7B2417D805E244EC41F72E6"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting after subsection (a) the following new subsection (b):</text>

<subsection id="H10038F62B1024F3BA0DAD000060E612"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Additional funding from the National Foreign Intelligence Program</header><text>In addition to the amounts made available to the Commission under subsection (a), of the amounts authorized to be appropriated by the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2004 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/108/177">Public Law 108–177</external-xref>) and available in the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2004 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/108/87">Public Law 108–87</external-xref>) for the National Foreign Intelligence Program, not more than $6,000,000 shall be available for transfer to the Commission for purposes of the activities of the Commission under this title.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph>
