To waive the time limitation specified by law for the award of certain
military decorations in order to allow the award of the Congressional
Medal of Honor to Steve Piniaha of Sparta, New Jersey, for acts of
valor while a member of the Army during World War II.

A BILL
To waive the time limitation specified by law for the award of certain
military decorations in order to allow the award of the Congressional
Medal of Honor to Steve Piniaha of Sparta, New Jersey, for acts of
valor while a member of the Army during World War II.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled, That notwithstanding
the time limitations specified in section 3744(a) of title 10, United
States Code, the President is authorized and requested to award the
Medal of Honor under section 3741 of such title to Steve Piniaha of
Sparta, New Jersey, for acts of valor on April 25, 1945, during World
War II while a private first class in the United States Army.
