<section section-type="section-one" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H310E7749075B488B89AAC2E7C41ECA4D"><enum>1.</enum><header>Authorization of printing</header> 
<subsection id="HD32D181A8FCF422A9B80EABF16F3EFA4"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In General</header><text>There shall be printed as a House document the book entitled <quote>History of the United States Capitol</quote> by Glenn Brown, as prepared under the auspices of the Architect of the Capitol with support from the United States Capitol Preservation Commission and the United States Capitol Historical Society.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HA255D713010448E48C4955F1A92FAA43"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Specifications</header><text>The document described in subsection (a) shall include illustrations and shall be in the style, form, manner, and binding as directed by the Joint Committee on Printing after consultation with the Clerk of the House of Representatives and the Secretary of the Senate.</text></subsection></section> 
<section section-type="subsequent-section" id="H42184CBA63DE42BF893419C580F98EFE"><enum>2.</enum><header>Number of Copies</header> <text display-inline="no-display-inline">In addition to the usual number, there shall be printed for the use of the House of Representatives and Senate the lesser of—</text> 
<paragraph id="H5120F4994940446987F5DBFDD7CEA025"><enum>(1)</enum><text>7,000 copies of the document described in section 1(a), to be allocated as determined jointly by the Clerk of the House of Representatives and the Secretary of the Senate; or</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HCD01B4EA0A9B4463A682816F26222371"><enum>(2)</enum><text>such maximum number of copies of the document as does not have a total production and printing cost of more than $182,000, with distribution to be allocated as described in paragraph (1).</text></paragraph></section>
