  twice and referred to the Committee on Environment and Public Works

                            JOINT RESOLUTION


 
 Providing for congressional disapproval of the rule submitted by the 
Environmental Protection Agency relating to the delay in the effective 
                    date of a new arsenic standard.

    Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United 
States of America in Congress assembled, That Congress disapproves the 
rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to the 
delay in the effective date of the arsenic standard (published at 66 
Fed. Reg. 28341 (2001)), and such rule shall have no force or effect.
