referred to the Committee on Environment and Public Works

A BILL
To authorize the Secretary of the Army to carry out a project for flood
protection and ecosystem restoration for Sacramento, California, and
for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of
the Army is authorized to carry out a project for flood control and
ecosystem restoration on the mainstem of the American River,
Sacramento, California, substantially in accordance with the plans as
described in alternative 3 of the American River Watershed, California,
Draft Supplemental Plan Formulation Report of the Army Corps of
Engineers dated September 2001.
