    Edmonson, Hart, and Metcalfe Counties, Kentucky, as part of the 
                          Appalachian region.

Mr. Lewis of Kentucky introduced the following bill; which was referred 
         to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure

                                 A BILL


 
To amend the Appalachian Regional Development Act of 1965 to designate 
    Edmonson, Hart, and Metcalfe Counties, Kentucky, as part of the 
                          Appalachian region.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 403 of the 
Appalachian Regional Development Act of 1965 (40 U.S.C. App.) is 
amended in the third undesignated paragraph relating to Kentucky--
            (1) by inserting ``Edmonson,'' before ``Elliott,'';
            (2) by inserting ``Hart,'' after ``Harlan,''; and
            (3) by inserting ``Metcalfe,'' after ``Menifee,''.
