A BILL
To authorize the Secretary of Transportation to require the use of
recycled materials in the construction of Federal-aid highway projects.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. AUTHORITY TO REQUIRE USE OF RECYCLED MATERIALS.
The Secretary of Transportation may issue regulations requiring the
use of recycled materials in the construction of any Federal-aid
highway.
