To direct the Secretary of the Interior to take action with respect to 
a fee into trust application submitted by the Pechanga Band of Luiseno 
                            Mission Indians.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. PECHANGA BAND FEE INTO TRUST APPLICATION.

    (a) In General.--If a person invokes eminent domain and begins 
condemnation of the Fee Land, the Secretary shall--
            (1) immediately consider the fee into trust application 
        concerning the Fee Land submitted by the Pechanga Band and 
        pending on the date of the enactment of this Act; and
            (2) by not later than 30 days after the date of the 
        beginning of the condemnation process, issue a final ruling on 
        such application.
    (b) Definitions.--In this section:
            (1) Fee land.--The term ``Fee Land'' means that land 
        located within the boundaries of Riverside County, California, 
        that is held in fee by the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Mission 
        Indians and described in Document No. 211130 of the Riverside 
        County, California, Office of the Recorder, recorded on May 15, 
        2001.
            (2) Penchanga band.--The term ``Pechanga Band'' means the 
        Pechanga Band of Luiseno Mission Indians.
            (3) Secretary.--The term ``Secretary'' means the Secretary 
        of the Interior.
