A BILL
To authorize the Secretary of the Army to convey a small parcel of land
at the United States Military Academy to the Village of Highland Falls,
New York.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. LAND CONVEYANCE, UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY, NEW YORK.
(a) Conveyance Authorized.--The Secretary of the Army may convey,
without consideration, to the Village of Highland Falls, New York (in
this section referred to as the ``Village''), all right, title and
interest of the United States in and to a parcel of real property,
including any improvements thereon, located in the Town of Highland,
New York, and consisting of approximately 300 acres for the purpose of
permitting the Village to use the property to promote economic
development.
(b) Description of Property.--The exact acreage and legal
description of the real property to be conveyed under subsection (a)
shall be determined by a survey satisfactory to the Secretary. The cost
of the survey shall be borne by the Secretary.
(c) Additional Terms and Conditions.--The Secretary may require
such additional terms and conditions in connection with the conveyance
under subsection (a) as the Secretary considers appropriate to protect
the interests of the United States.
