                  In the Senate of the United States,

                                                     November 20, 2002.
    Resolved, That the bill from the House of Representatives (H.R. 
1606) entitled ``An Act to amend section 507 of the Omnibus Parks and 
Public Lands Management Act of 1996 to authorize additional 
appropriations for historically black colleges and universities, to 
decrease the matching requirement related to such appropriations, and 
for other purposes.'', do pass with the following

                               AMENDMENT:

    Page 3, line 14, strike out [such sums as may be necessary] and 
insert: a total of $10,000,000 for fiscal years 2003 and 2004
