A BILL
To repeal the per-State limitation applicable to grants made by the
National Endowment for the Arts from funds made available for fiscal
year 2001.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. REPEALER.
Section 319(d) of Public Law 106-291 is amended--
(1) by striking paragraph (2), and
(2) by redesignating paragraphs (3) and (4) as paragraphs
(2) and (3), respectively.
SEC. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Act and the amendments made by section 1 shall take effect on
October 1, 2000.
