Mr. Traficant introduced the following bill; which was referred to the

   To authorize grants for certain water and waste disposal facility 
                        projects in rural areas.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Mahoning Valley Infrastructure 
Improvement Act of 2001''.

SEC. 2. GRANTS FOR CERTAIN WATER AND WASTE DISPOSAL FACILITY PROJECTS 
              IN THE MAHONING VALLEY OF OHIO.

    From amounts made available for grants under section 306C(a) of the 
Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act for fiscal year 2002, the 
Secretary of Agriculture shall--
            (1) make a grant pursuant to such section in an amount 
        equal to $6,000,000 for a project for the extension of 
        waterlines in Milton Township, Ohio, and Craig Beach Village, 
        Ohio; and
            (2) make a grant pursuant to such section in an amount 
        equal to $45,000,000 for sewer line projects in rural 
        communities in Trumbull County, Ohio.
