                                 A BILL


 
  To designate as a national memorial the memorial being built at the 
     Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California to honor 
                   recipients of the Medal of Honor.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``National Medal of Honor Memorial 
Act''.

SEC. 2. DESIGNATION OF NATIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR MEMORIAL.

    The memorial being constructed at the Riverside National Cemetery 
in Riverside, California, to honor those who have received the Medal of 
Honor for gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life above and 
beyond the call of duty, is hereby designated as a national memorial to 
be known as the ``National Medal of Honor Memorial''.
