                  In the Senate of the United States,

                      November 1 (legislative day, September 22), 2000.
      Resolved, That the resolution from the House of Representatives 
(H.J. Res. 84) entitled ``Joint resolution making further continuing 
appropriations for the fiscal year 2000, and for other purposes.'' do 
pass with the following

                              AMENDMENTS:

            Strike out all after the resolving clause and insert:

That Public Law 106-275, is further amended by striking the date 
specified in section 106(c) and inserting ``November 14, 2000''.

            Amend the title so as to read: ``Joint resolution making 
        further continuing appropriations for the fiscal year 2001, and 
        for other purposes.''.
