 Louisiana by transferring one Federal judge from the eastern district 
                             of Louisiana.

To provide for one additional Federal judge for the middle district of 
 Louisiana by transferring one Federal judge from the eastern district 
                             of Louisiana.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. TRANSFER OF FEDERAL COURT JUDGESHIP.

    The table in section 133(a) of title 28, United States Code, is 
amended by amending the item relating to Louisiana to read as follows:
