<section id="d1082e85" identifier="/us/pl/119/84/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF AUTHORITIES OF TITLE VII OF THE FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE SURVEILLANCE ACT OF 1978.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y3e5f6f49-3f19-11f1-850e-1d8f7df6e243" identifier="/us/pl/119/84/s1/a" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Extension of Repeal Date of Title VII</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Section 403(b) of the FISA Amendments Act of 2008 (<ref href="/us/pl/110/261">Public Law 110–261</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction>—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3e5f6f4a-3f19-11f1-850e-1d8f7df6e243" identifier="/us/pl/119/84/s1/a/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x3e5f6f4b-3f19-11f1-850e-1d8f7df6e243" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/usc/t50/s1881">50 USC 1881</ref> and </p><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x3e5f6f4c-3f19-11f1-850e-1d8f7df6e243" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">note, 1881a–1881h.</p></sidenote>in paragraph (1) (<ref href="/us/usc/t50/s1881">50 U.S.C. 1881 note</ref>), by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>effective two years after</quotedText>” and all that follows through the period at the end and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>effective April 30, 2026, title VII of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 (<ref href="/us/usc/t50/s1881/etseq">50 U.S.C. 1881 et seq.</ref>) is repealed.</quotedText>”; and</content></paragraph>
