<section id="d54929e93" identifier="/us/pl/117/6/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.<?q01?></heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">PPP Extension Act of 2021</shortTitle>”.<?q01?></content></section>
<section id="d54929e106" identifier="/us/pl/117/6/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF COVERED PERIOD FOR PAYCHECK PROTECTION PROGRAM.<?q01?></heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y373d1dc5-e813-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/6/s2/a" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">In General</inline>.—</heading><content>Section 7(a)(36)(A)(iii) of the Small Business Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t15/s636/a/36/A/iii">15 U.S.C. 636(a)(36)(A)(iii)</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>March 31, 2021</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>June 30, 2021</quotedText>”.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y373d1dc6-e813-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/6/s2/b" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Funding</inline>.—</heading><content>Section 1102(b)(1) of the CARES Act (<ref href="/us/pl/116/136">Public Law 116–136</ref>), as amended by section 323 of the Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act (<ref href="/us/pl/116/260">Public Law 116–260</ref>),<sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x373d1dc7-e813-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/stat/134/2018">134 Stat. 2018</ref>.</p></sidenote> <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>March 31, 2021</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>June 30, 2021</quotedText>”.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y373d1dc8-e813-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/6/s2/c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="c">(c) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x373d1dc9-e813-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/usc/t15/s636">15 USC 636 note</ref>.<?q01?></p></sidenote><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Restriction</inline>.—</heading><content>From June 1, 2021, through June 30, 2021, the Administrator of the Small Business Administration shall not accept new lender applications for loans under paragraph (36) or (37) of section 7(a) of the Small Business Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t15/s636/a">15 U.S.C. 636(a)</ref>) and shall only process such lender applications that have been submitted to the Administrator before June 1, 2021.</content></subsection>

<section id="d54929e186" identifier="/us/pl/117/6/s3" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading>DETERMINATION OF BUDGETARY EFFECTS.<?q01?></heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y373d44da-e813-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/6/s3/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">In General</inline>.—</heading><content>The budgetary effects of this Act shall not be entered on either PAYGO scorecard maintained pursuant to section 4(d) of the Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010 (<ref href="/us/usc/t2/s933/d">2 U.S.C. 933(d)</ref>).</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y373d44db-e813-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/6/s3/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Senate Paygo Scorecards</inline>.—</heading><content>The budgetary effects of this Act shall not be entered on any PAYGO scorecard maintained for purposes of section 4106 of H. Con. Res. 71 (115th Congress).</content></subsection>
