<section id="d93497e88" identifier="/us/pl/117/30/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Major Medical Facility Authorization Act of 2021</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d93497e98" identifier="/us/pl/117/30/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>AUTHORIZATION OF MAJOR MEDICAL FACILITY PROJECTS OF DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y37f430a8-e816-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/30/s2/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x37f430a9-e816-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">State listing.</p></sidenote><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">In General</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>The Secretary of Veterans Affairs may carry out the following major medical facility projects in fiscal year 2021 at the locations specified and in an amount for each project not to exceed the amount specified for such location:</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y37f430aa-e816-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/30/s2/a/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>Construction of an outpatient clinic and national cemetery in Alameda, California, in an amount not to exceed $266,200,000.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y37f430ab-e816-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/30/s2/a/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>Construction of a new specialty care building 201 in American Lake, Washington, in an amount not to exceed $110,600,000.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y37f430ac-e816-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/30/s2/a/3" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">(3) </num><content>Construction of a community living center and renovation of domiciliary and outpatient facilities in Canandaigua, New York, in an amount not to exceed $383,741,000.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y37f430ad-e816-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/30/s2/a/4" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="4">(4) </num><content>Construction of a spinal cord injury center in Dallas, Texas, in an amount not to exceed $249,000,000.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y37f430ae-e816-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/30/s2/a/5" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="5">(5) </num><content>Realignment and closure of the Livermore Campus in Livermore, California, in an amount not to exceed $455,000,000.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y37f430af-e816-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/30/s2/a/6" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="6">(6) </num><content>Seismic corrections to the mental health and community living center in Long Beach, California, in an amount not to exceed $367,300,000.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y37f430b0-e816-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/30/s2/a/7" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="7">(7) </num><content>Construction of a spinal cord injury building with a community living center, including a parking garage, in San Diego, California, in an amount not to exceed $252,100,000.</content></paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y37f430b1-e816-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/117/30/s2/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Authorization of Appropriations</inline>.—</heading><content>There is authorized- <page identifier="/us/stat/135/308">135 STAT. 308</page>
to be appropriated to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for fiscal year 2021 or the year in which funds are appropriated for the Construction, Major Projects account, $2,083,941,000 for the projects authorized in subsection (a).</content></subsection>
