<section id="d164761e92" identifier="/us/pl/116/70/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Rebuilding Small Businesses After Disasters Act</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d164761e102" identifier="/us/pl/116/70/s2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF SUNSET FOR COLLATERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SBA DISASTER LOANS.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Section 2102(b) of the RISE After Disaster Act of 2015 (<ref href="/us/usc/t15/s636">15 U.S.C. 636 note</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction>, in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>4 years</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>7 years</quotedText>”.</content></section>
<section id="d164761e121" identifier="/us/pl/116/70/s3" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading>GAO REPORT ON DEFAULT RATES.</heading><chapeau class="indentUp0 firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="x0a2f0839-e81f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General of the United States shall submit to the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship of the Senate and the Committee on Small Business of the House of Representatives a report comparing—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y0a2f083a-e81f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/116/70/s3/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x0a2f083b-e81f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Time period.</p></sidenote><chapeau>the performance, including the default rate, of loans made under section 7(b)(1) of the Small Business Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t15/s636/b/1">15 U.S.C. 636(b)(1)</ref>) during the period—</chapeau><subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y0a2f2f4c-e81f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/116/70/s3/1/A" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="A">(A) </num><content>beginning on January 1, 2000; and</content></subparagraph>
<subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y0a2f2f4d-e81f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/116/70/s3/1/B" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="B">(B) </num><content>ending on the date on which the Small Business Administration began making loans in accordance with the amendment made by section 2102(a) of the RISE After Disaster Act of 2015 (<ref href="/us/pl/114/88">Public Law 114–88</ref>; <ref href="/us/stat/129/690">129 Stat. 690</ref>); and</content></subparagraph>
</paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y0a2f2f4e-e81f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/116/70/s3/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>the performance, including the default rate, of loans made under 7(b)(1) of the Small Business Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t15/s636/b/1">15 U.S.C. 636(b)(1)</ref>) in accordance with the amendment made by section <page identifier="/us/stat/133/1146">133 STAT. 1146</page>
