<section id="d174064e99" identifier="/us/pl/116/324/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.<?q01?></heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Lifespan Respite Care Reauthorization Act of 2020</shortTitle>”.<?q01?></content></section>
<section id="d174064e112" identifier="/us/pl/116/324/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>REAUTHORIZATION OF LIFESPAN RESPITE CARE PROGRAM.<?q01?></heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y78880467-e821-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/116/324/s2/a" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Data Collection and Reporting</inline>.—</heading><content>Section 2904 of the Public Health Service Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t42/s300ii–3">42 U.S.C. 300ii–3</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> to read as follows:<?q01?><quotedContent><section class="indentUp2 firstIndent-2" id="y78880468-e821-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658144"><num class="bold" value="2904">“SEC. 2904. </num><heading class="bold">DATA COLLECTION AND REPORTING.<?q01?></heading><subsection class="indentDown2 firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y78880469-e821-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">“(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">In General</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Each State agency awarded a grant or cooperative agreement under section 2902 shall report such data, information, and metrics as the Secretary may require for purposes of—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y7888046a-e821-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">“(1) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x7888046b-e821-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Evaluation.</p></sidenote><content>evaluating State programs and activities funded pursuant to such grant or cooperative agreement, including any results pursuant to section 2902(d)(2)(B)(xii); and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y7888046c-e821-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">“(2) </num><content>identifying effective programs and activities funded pursuant to section 2902.</content></paragraph>

<subsection class="indentDown2 firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y7888046d-e821-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">“(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Report</inline>.—</heading><content>Not later than October 1, 2023, the Secretary shall submit a report to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions of the Senate and the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives regarding the outcomes of the programs and activities funded pursuant to section 2902, including any effective programs and activities identified.”</content></subsection>

<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y7888046e-e821-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/116/324/s2/b" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Funding</inline>.—</heading><content>Section 2905 of the Public Health Service Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t42/s300ii–4">42 U.S.C. 300ii–4</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>title</quotedText>” and all that follows through the period and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>title, $10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 through fiscal year 2024.</quotedText>”.</content></subsection>
