<enactingFormula style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><i>  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa­tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,</i></enactingFormula>
<section id="d99965e85" identifier="/us/pl/116/313/s1" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>DEEMING AN URBAN INDIAN ORGANIZATION AND EMPLOYEES THEREOF TO BE A PART OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE FOR THE PURPOSES OF CERTAIN CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY.</heading><content class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="xe2ca0398-e821-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Title V of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t25/s1651">25 U.S.C. 1651</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="add">adding</amendingAction> at the end the following:<quotedContent><section class="centered fontsize12" id="ye2ca2aa9-e821-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658143"><num class="fontsize12" value="519">“SEC. 519. </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="xe2ca2aaa-e821-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Applicability.</p><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="xe2ca2aab-e821-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/usc/t25/s1660i">25 USC 1660i</ref>.</p></sidenote><heading class="fontsize12">DEEMING AN URBAN INDIAN ORGANIZATION AND EMPLOYEES THEREOF TO BE A PART OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE FOR THE PURPOSES OF CERTAIN CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY.</heading><chapeau class=" fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  “Section 102(d) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act shall apply—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="ye2ca2aac-e821-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">“(1) </num><content>to an Urban Indian organization to the same extent and in the same manner as such section applies to an Indian tribe, a tribal organization, and an Indian contractor; and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="ye2ca2aad-e821-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">“(2) </num><content>to the employees of an Urban Indian organization to the same extent and in the same manner as such section applies to employees of an Indian tribe, a tribal organization, or an Indian contractor.”</content></paragraph>

<section id="d99965e129" identifier="/us/pl/116/313/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>DETERMINATION OF BUDGETARY EFFECTS.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  The budgetary effects of this Act, for the purpose of complying with the Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010, shall be determined by reference to the latest statement titled “Budgetary Effects of PAYGO Legislation” for this Act, submitted for printing in the <page identifier="/us/stat/134/4930">134 STAT. 4930</page>
Congressional Record by the Chairman of the House Budget Committee, provided that such statement has been submitted prior to the vote on passage.</content></section>
