<section id="d100074e92" identifier="/us/pl/116/311/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Proper and Reimbursed Care for Native Veterans Act</shortTitle>” or the “<shortTitle role="act">PRC for Native Veterans Act</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d100074e105" identifier="/us/pl/116/311/s2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>CLARIFICATION OF REQUIREMENT OF DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS AND DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TO REIMBURSE INDIAN HEALTH SERVICE FOR CERTAIN HEALTH CARE SERVICES.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Section 405(c) of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t25/s1645">25 U.S.C. 1645</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> before the period at the end the following: “<quotedText>, regardless of whether such services are provided directly by the Service, an Indian tribe, or tribal organization, through purchased/referred care, or through a contract for travel described in section 213(b)</quotedText>”.</content></section>
