<section id="d252149e85" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>NEW JERSEY COASTAL HERITAGE TRAIL ROUTE.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y41fd8a26-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1/a" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Reauthorization</inline>.—</heading><chapeau><ref href="/us/pl/100/515/s6">Section 6 of Public Law 100–515</ref> (<ref href="/us/usc/t16/s1244">16 U.S.C. 1244 note</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction>—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y41fd8a27-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1/a/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> subsection (a);</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y41fd8a28-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1/a/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="redesignate">redesignating</amendingAction> subsections (b) and (c) as subsections (a) and (b), respectively;</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y41fd8a29-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1/a/3" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">(3) </num><content>in subsection (a) (as so redesignated by paragraph (2)), by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>under subsection (a)</quotedText>” each place that it appears and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>to carry out this Act</quotedText>”; and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y41fd8a2a-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1/a/4" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="4">(4) </num><content>in subsection (b) (as so redesignated by paragraph (2)), by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>2011</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>2025</quotedText>”.</content></paragraph>

<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y41fd8a2b-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Strategic Plan</inline>.—</heading><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y41fd8a2c-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1/b/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">In general</inline>.—</heading><subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y41fd8a2d-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1/b/1/A" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="A">(A) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x41fd8a2e-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Deadline.</p></sidenote><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Plan required</inline>.—</heading><content>Not later than 3 years after the date on which funds are first made available after the date of enactment of this Act to carry out <ref href="/us/pl/100/515">Public Law 100–515</ref> (<ref href="/us/usc/t16/s1244">16 U.S.C. 1244 note</ref>), the Secretary of the Interior shall prepare a strategic plan for the New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route.</content></subparagraph>
<subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y41fd8a2f-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1/b/1/B" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="B">(B) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Contents</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>The strategic plan shall describe—</chapeau><clause class="fontsize10" id="y41fd8a30-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1/b/1/B/i" style="-uslm-lc:I658126"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="i">(i) </num><content>opportunities to increase participation by national and local private and public interests in the planning, development, and administration of the New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route; and</content></clause>
<clause class="fontsize10" id="y41fd8a31-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1/b/1/B/ii" style="-uslm-lc:I658126"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="ii">(ii) </num><content>organizational options for sustaining the New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route.</content></clause>

<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y41fd8a32-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/431/s1/b/2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x41fd8a33-e82e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Repeal.</p></sidenote><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Conforming amendment</inline>.—</heading><content>Section 703(b) of the National Heritage Areas Act of 2006 (<ref href="/us/pl/109/338">Public Law 109–338</ref>; <ref href="/us/stat/120/1859">120 Stat. 1859</ref>) is <amendingAction type="repeal">repealed</amendingAction>.</content></paragraph>
