<section id="d143912e88" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">No Hero Left Untreated Act</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d143912e98" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>FINDINGS.</heading><chapeau class="indentUp0 firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="x22d9e725-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Congress finds the following:</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y22d9e726-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s2/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>Magnetic EEG/EKG-guided resonance therapy has successfully treated more than 400 veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, military sexual trauma, chronic pain, and opiate addiction.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y22d9e727-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s2/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>Recent clinical trials and randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind studies have produced promising measurable outcomes in the evolution of magnetic EEG/EKG-guided resonance therapy.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y22d9e728-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s2/3" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">(3) </num><content>The outcomes described in paragraph (2) have resulted in escalating demand from returning members of the Armed Forces and veterans who are seeking access to magnetic EEG/EKG-guided resonance therapy.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y22d9e729-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s2/4" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="4">(4) </num><content>Congress recognizes the importance of initiating innovative pilot programs that demonstrate the use and effectiveness of new treatment options for post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, military sexual trauma, chronic pain, and opiate addiction.</content></paragraph>

<section id="d143912e125" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s3" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading>MAGNETIC EEG/EKG-GUIDED RESONANCE THERAPY PILOT PROGRAM.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y22da354a-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s3/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x22da354b-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Deadline.</p></sidenote><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Pilot Program</inline>.—</heading><content>Commencing not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall carry out a pilot program to provide access to magnetic EEG/EKG-guided resonance therapy to treat veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, military sexual trauma, chronic pain, or opiate addiction.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y22da354c-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s3/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Locations</inline>.—</heading><content>The Secretary shall carry out the pilot program under subsection (a) at not more than two facilities of the Department of Veterans Affairs.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y22da354d-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s3/c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="c">(c) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Participants</inline>.—</heading><content>In carrying out the pilot program under subsection (a), the Secretary shall provide access to magnetic EEG/EKG-guided resonance therapy to not more than 50 veterans.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y22da354e-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s3/d" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="d">(d) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Duration</inline>.—</heading><content>The Secretary shall carry out the pilot program under subsection (a) for a 1-year period.<page identifier="/us/stat/132/5037">132 STAT. 5037</page></content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y22da354f-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s3/e" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="e">(e) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Report</inline>.—</heading><content>Not later than 90 days after the termination of the pilot program under subsection (d), the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs of the Senate and the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs of the House of Representatives a report on the pilot program.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y22da3550-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/339/s3/f" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="f">(f) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">No Authorization of Appropriations</inline>.—</heading><content>No additional amounts are authorized to be appropriated to carry out the requirements of this section. Such requirements shall be carried out using amounts authorized under provisions of law other than this section.</content></subsection>
