<section id="d145716e88" identifier="/us/pl/115/321/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">National Law Enforcement Museum Exhibits Act</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d145716e98" identifier="/us/pl/115/321/s2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>AUTHORITY OF NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT MUSEUM TO ACQUIRE, RECEIVE, POSSESS, COLLECT, SHIP, TRANSPORT, IMPORT, AND DISPLAY FIREARMS.</heading><content class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="xbeb8183c-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  The National Law Enforcement Museum Act (<ref href="/us/pl/106/492">Public Law 106–492</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="add">adding</amendingAction> at the end the following:<quotedContent><section class="centered fontsize12" id="ybeb83f4d-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="5">“SEC. 5. </num><heading class="fontsize12">AUTHORITY OF MUSEUM TO ACQUIRE, RECEIVE, POSSESS, COLLECT, SHIP, TRANSPORT, IMPORT, AND DISPLAY FIREARMS.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="ybeb83f4e-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">“(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">In General</inline>.—</heading><content>Notwithstanding any other provision of Federal law, or any law or any rule or regulations of a State or any political subdivision thereof, the Museum may acquire, receive, possess, collect, ship, transport, import, and display firearms (as defined in <ref href="/us/usc/t18/s921/a/3">section 921(a)(3) of title 18, United States Code</ref>, or section 5845(a) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986) in fulfilling the purposes of the Museum.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="ybeb83f4f-e832-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" role="definitions" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">“(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Definition of State</inline>.—</heading><content>In subsection (a), the term ‘<term>State</term>’ means the several States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the United States Virgin Islands, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, and the possessions of the United States.”</content></subsection>
