<enactingFormula style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><i>  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa­tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,</i></enactingFormula>
<section id="d158817e82" identifier="/us/pl/115/206/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A FEDERAL ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION PROJECT INVOLVING CANNONSVILLE DAM.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y0e51ea16-e837-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/206/s1/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">In General</inline>.—</heading><content>Notwithstanding the time period specified in section 13 of the Federal Power Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t16/s806">16 U.S.C. 806</ref>) that would otherwise apply to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission project numbered 13287, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (referred to in this section as the “Commission”) may, at the request of the licensee for the project, and after reasonable notice, in accordance with the good faith, due diligence, and public interest requirements of that section and the procedures of the Commission under that section, extend the time period during which the licensee is required to commence construction of the project for up to 4 consecutive 2-year periods after the required date of the commencement of construction described in Article 301 of the license.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y0e51ea17-e837-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/206/s1/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x0e51ea18-e837-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Effective dates.</p></sidenote><inline class="smallCaps">Reinstatement of Expired License</inline>.—</heading><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y0e51ea19-e837-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/206/s1/b/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">In general</inline>.—</heading><content>If the required date of the commencement of construction described in subsection (a) has expired prior to the date of enactment of this Act, the Commission may reinstate the license effective as of that date of expiration.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y0e51ea1a-e837-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/115/206/s1/b/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Extension</inline>.—</heading><content>If the Commission reinstates the license under paragraph (1), the first extension authorized under subsection (a) shall take effect on the date of that expiration.</content></paragraph>
